I hate them

I hate all of you guys who read my blog but never comment. Especially all of them who read, never comment and than tell me that I read your blog. If given an oppurtunity, I can shoot-you-at-sight. And ya, I know you have execuses to make for not commenting.

Like,
- I am not getting words to comment.
- I just glance through it.
- I don't read it seriously.
- I do not have that much time yaar.
- I have never thought about it till now.
- I just look on what topic you are blogging. Thats it.
- I don't feel like commenting because topics are not of my interest.
- Once I tried it but I did not understand where to comment and how.
- oh! comment?? how can I do that?And what is that?

  2. Exactly..

    I also hate them.But at least I am happy that they get time to read it...
    In my case the most frequent response I have received is "oh! comment?? how can I do that?And what is that?" (Even if they are knowing they just make fun and change the topic..)

  3. So true. One more reason I've got form people not commenting is to avoid confrontation when thoughts differ. That however may not justified always. Personally, for whatever blogs I follow, I don't feel like commenting on all the posts on them. No one can feel so every time. Many visitors to our blogs might not even know us. In that case, I console myself with the thought that how many of us might have replied to newpapers expressing our thankfulness or our views/reservations/suggestions (on every story they publish). Now I've come to think of the deeper purpose behind my blogging. I have taken out the bragging-about-the-comments part from my blogging and use my blog as a diary (an open one at that) and a tool to hone my writing skills which I feel are like that of a novice reader. For many people, blogging is just a past-time act. So never mind dear, just have the belief that there are some people who really read your blogs and not many of them are ready to claim that they follow your writes :-)
    Sorry for the epic-comment dude. (Maybe I should have blogged it down and added a link to it in comment).

  4. @Soham,
    Thanks Soham for comment.

    @Shunty:
    Yupp .. That is probably worst of all excuses ..

    @Malkesh:
    Thanks buddy for your autobiography.

    Few more things.

    //Many visitors to our blogs might not even know us.
    True. But that does not mean you CAN not comment there. In fact, most of my early and returning blog readers are in not-yet-met category. I know them as blogger only. I don't know him at all personally !

    // In that case, I console myself with the thought that how many of us might have replied to newpapers expressing our thankfulness or our views/reservations/suggestions (on every story they publish).

    Blogging is way way different than journalism. It can not be compared.

    // Now I've come to think of the deeper purpose behind my blogging.

    Even I have my own unique purpose for blogging. Going to publish that soon. But again point is : I hate them who read (Very much fine), never comment (no problem at all, they can choose not to comment) and than tell me that I read your blog (I hate this. Read it or don't read it - Fine. Comment or don't comment - Fine. But please don't come to me saying I read you blog.)

  6. Lolz. Jaydip that's really funny on their part. I mean, they do it just for the heck of it. Mindlessly scanning through pages on the net or maybe they are looking for some secret that you reveal on the blog. I have two words for them 'Grow up'

    btw - I don't think of newspapers just a a bunch of news. The point of my reference was the editorial page which has pretty much the same make as my, your or any other such blog. It was just letting the author know your views about their views. I don't think there is much of a difference among the two on this.
    Thanks, you are really giving me a good time with a discussion branching out. These are the fruits of healthy commenting.
