Product thats hangs the most

Ever faced an issue when you are in hurry-burry but the product you are using stops working exactly at that time ? Well, you can say this happens because of so called murphy's law. But do not forget there are products existing which proves this law wrong. Okay, so talking to the point, I wanted to know which products do you feel hangs the most? Which products betrays your trust the most? Which are those products which just makes you frustrated?

I will start with my list of products:
- Internet explorer (almost once a day).
- Microsoft word.
- Microsoft windows (most irritating thing in this is, you tell some hanging window to end NOW using task manager. But that "now" never comes and application hangs forever untill you kill corrresponding "process").
- Adobe acrobat reader.
- Yahoo mail.
- Google docs.

Products which never betrays my trust are:
- Google chorome (never ever seen it hanging, no matter how many tabs you open with it or what you are opening in those tabs).
- Google mail (if it hangs while opening because of slower net connection, i simply switches back to HTML version).

Today I have sent a mail to my friend who has a Yahoo mail ID. I had mentioned my blog's URL in that mail. After sending a mail, within 5 minutes I got a mail pasted below:

Is Yahoo! selling our mail IDs to get money?
If no than why I have received such kind of mail in response to a mail I had sent to my Yahoo friend quoting my blog's URL?

I don't know why I have received this mail. This mail raises a question in my mind like, Is Yahoo! selling our mail IDs to get money? If no than why I have received such kind of mail in response to a mail I had sent to my Yahoo friend quoting my blog's URL? If any one of you have faced such kind of issue, please tell me what can be an issue.

Note: Don't get tempted by above mail and register yourself a mentioned site. It seems a bogus site to me.

So Microsoft's hostile bid for Yahoo! raises troubling questions. This is about more than simply a financial transaction, one company taking over another. It's about preserving the underlying principles of the Internet: openness and innovation.

Could Microsoft now attempt to exert the same sort of inappropriate and illegal influence over he Internet that it did with the PC? While the Internet rewards competitive innovation, Microsoft has frequently sought to establish proprietary monopolies -- and then leverage its dominance
into new, adjacent markets.

Could the acquisition of Yahoo! allow Microsoft -- despite its legacy of serious legal and regulatory offenses -- to extend unfair practices from browsers and operating systems to the Internet? In addition, Microsoft plus Yahoo! equals an overwhelming share of instant messaging and web email accounts. And between them, the two companies operate the two most heavily trafficked portals on the Internet. Could a combination of the two take advantage of a PC software monopoly to unfairly limit the ability of consumers to freely access competitors' email, IM, and web-based services? Policymakers around the world need to ask these questions -- and consumers deserve satisfying answers.

This hostile bid was announced on Friday, so there is plenty of time for these questions to be thoroughly addressed. We take Internet openness, choice and innovation seriously. They are the core of our culture. We believe that the interests of Internet users come first -- and should come first -- as the merits of this proposed acquisition are examined and alternatives explored.

No doubt that today best and widely used search engine is google but Yahoo! is not far away in competition. Many people are confortable with Yahoo! search but in my view, Google is best. Actually 'google' has became synonymous for 'find'. By searching an infinite number of pages in seconds, google and Yahoo are already making our net life easy. Google and Yahoo! are searching a web more faster than your windows OS. Windows search (for Linux it is grep) used to find particular word in one PC takes more time than Google or Yahoo! which searches millions of Web pages!! Just a thought of not having google or Yahoo! searches makes life miserable. Google and Yahoo! has became a part of life. We netizens (at least this is not a spelling mistake, it is netizens only) have became addicted to google and Yahoo. Before going to shopping something or before going somewhere to enjoy a weekend, people are using these search engines. People are finding a best route to go from one place to other, approx auto fares, distance in kilometers from these search engines. Before buying any items we are used to search for reviews of it. Today many people are using search engine results as an alternative for visiting card. People are used to not to give his visiting card to stranger but instead ask a stranger to search for his name on Google!! For example, if I have my blogspot listed first in google search I can put my address, career interest, personnel interest, current company name etc in my blogger profile and I can ask any stranger to search for my name in Google and know about me everything!!

Sometimes user requires to have result from both of searches. Think that how good and easy life will become if some one lists results from both of search parallel !! Hello all,
After getting listed on google , now its time for Yahoo search. Yeah, you have guessed it right, Yahoo search has also listed me. Though I got listed second on Yahoo search, it is not less than an achievement for me. Thanks again to all of you for everything.
